Big adventures lie in store for you along this scenic historical route!
Information sings along the way help to guide and inform you. The route takes you first from center of Göstling along the Ybbs River. The next adventures are close at hand: a demonstration turbine just after the power station and a rest stop at the chimney of the front hammer mill. Then you continue along a romantic trail through the North Canyon to a lumberjack camp run by the Rothschilds, and from there to an aqueduct forming part of the Secong Alpine Spring Water Supply Line for the city of Vienna. The trail surface alternates between asphalt, grabel and wellsecured wooden walkways into the Steinbach Valley. It is smooth enough for strollers and relatively level, with a slight incline only in the middle section.
