... flowing water formed soft hills, then the wind completed the beautiful picture. It carried aeolian sediments with it, today known as loess. Loess lets vines prosper and facilitates digging deep and durable cellars. This is how the district below the Manhartsberg mountain received its promising title: Weinviertel (wine district).
The Weinviertler Weinstraße makes this unique landscape accessible, it turns the experience of harmony and diversity into a feast for the senses.
The community of Stoitzendorf is located directly at the Western part of the Weinstraße Weinviertel!
