Chapel at Breitenschützing
This Chapel stands in the hamlet of Breitenschützing, next to a farmstead on the main road. The masonry building with tiled roof is said to be been erected around 1880. The Chapel is flanked by a walnut tree and a birch and by two benches that invite wayfarers to take a rest and say a prayer. The interior is adorned by a wooden Madonna statue. Restoration works were carried out by today´s owner in the 1970ies.
