Chapel at Aich
You´ll find this tiny Chapel in the hamlet of Aich on Atzbacherstrasse Road.
It was founded by a Pitzenberg resident in the year 1918 out of gratitude for his healing after having suffered an accident. The building in neo Gothic style is quite similar to the Catholic Parish Church of Schwanenstadt. The chapel seats thirty people. The altar is flanked by precious statues of Saint Michael and Saint Florian that were stolen in the 1970s. They were substituted by smaller figures.
Complete renovation works were carried out in 1976. In 2001 the local authority purchased the chapel.
