Wayside shrines, chapels and old wall paintings.
Over the centuries, the people of Gramastetten has built an infinite number of chapels, wayside shrines and little statues as a sign of their gratitude and piety or in remembrance of disasters and catastrophes.
A couple of years ago a small group of local culture enthusiasts decided to renovate and preserve all these little art treasures. They will be listed in a special catalogue. Brochures will be available soon!
