Maria im Walde Chapel
The chapel was built in 1919 and renoveted in 1968 and 1987.
Every year in May people from the towns of Freinberg and Bayrisch-Haibach meet in the chapel to conduct a short service.
Located on the very border between Austria and Germany, the chapel is also a popular destination among tourists and pilgrims from both countries.
