Blaschek Scenic View Point

Leopold Blaschek is said to have come to Bad Goisern in 1897 and was employed as ranger. By decree of the Forestry Commission in Gmunden, he became known as "kk. Forester III. Class" from 25.08.1903. He died in 1915 at the age of 48 and was buried in the catholic cemetery in Bad Goisern.

The view point/outlook tower is situated on top of the magnificent "Ewige Wand" rock formation above the "Höhenweg" trail. From here you have wonderful views of the Bad Goisern valley and the surrounding World Heritage region.

Accessible via the "Panoramic Route" on the Pridigstuhl. Take the turning for either the
"Rathluck´n Hut" or the Berghof Predigstuhl car park.

Allow about 1/2 - 3/4 hour to walk from the "Rathluck´n Hut" or a little longer from the Berghof!

The outlook tower was re-built in June 1999!
