The legendary Cattle Drive - a very special experience!
Every year in late September, the Hintertux Oktoberfest promises fun, entertainment, music and dance in our marquee tent and traditional food and drinks at the farm market. The highlight of this event is surely the cattle drive with beautifully decorated cows returning to their respective farms from the Alpine pastures.
The many associations and groups fostering local customs cherish the cultural heritage, and ensure a special atmosphere with their traditional celebrations and festivities. The culture of "Zillertal cooking" and "Zillertal music-making" make our festivals unique.
Already the lift ride up to 3250m is an experience not to be missed! Enjoy breathtaking views from the panorama sundeck, ski down immaculate groomed runs or explore our scenic surroundings on foot!
