One should start thinking in larger dimensions when imagining the most exciting cycling track of Lower Austria. A large bow connects the rivers Kamp, Thaya and March, and leads up from Krems to the Czech Republic. It then continues along the Czech border towards Slovakia and down to the Danube river. All in all, the route comprises 450 kilometres: a week full of cycling fun!
In the beginning, we had the wish to make our garden ideas more visible. What we have created is a fascinating selection of theme gardens - the Kittenberger theme gardens! Embedded in the gently rolling hills of the southern Weinviertel, just a few kilometres from Krems and Langenlois, friends of gardens and nature will find a multitude of ideas and tips for their garden design. We offer professional advice to your questions coupled with our years of experience in natural garden concepts. Let us enchant you!
A visit to the Baroque garden "Arche Noah" is definitely worth your time! Here, you can discover more than 900 different crops. During a guided tour, you can learn interesting new things about unknown vegetables, herbs, and other plants. In addition, you have the possibility to shop for rare plants and herbs.
The lookout point of the Kamptal valley lies at the world-famous Riesling hill, the Heiligenstein, well known for its excellent vineyard locations. It opens up a marvellous view across the Kamptal valley and over the Danube into the alpine upland. You can get the key to the tower in the inns of Zöbing or at the Ursin Haus in Langenlois.
Each year, the famous castle festivals take place at the romantic castle park of Schloss Haindorf in Langenlois. Well-known artists and musicians perform famous operettas, such as "Zwei Herzen im Dreivierteltakt", "Die Fledermaus", "Der Zarewitsch", etc.
