Diersbach is located in lower Innviertel, about 16 kilometers east of Schärding, the district’s capital. The town’s landmark is a parish church with its “leaning tower of Innviertel”.
The region’s diverse and unspoiled landscape boasts dense forests, open meadows, vast fields and murmuring brooks. There is plenty to keep visitors entertained here including beautiful walking and cycling tours. The many hills in the region’s north afford great views of the Alpine foothills and, in clear weather, the Alps.
