Wenzelskirche affords superb views over the region’s gently rolling hills, as far as Pöstlingberg und Sternstein. From the top of the Calvary hill you can see all the way to the pristine Danube valley, on clear days even the snow-covered peaks of Ötscher and Untersberg.

Wartberg boasts eight well-maintained and signposted hiking trails which all start on Marktplatz in the center of town. One of the most beautiful hikes is the Wartberg Loop Trail which meanders through the serene “Unteres Tal” nature park and offers shady picnic spots and places to relax.
