Golfers can rejoice: the greater Kitzbühel area boasts a total of 21 Golf Courses (4 tn town, 19 in the immediate surroundings) which are all set against the majestic backdrop of the Kitzbühel Alps.
The area around Kitzbühel is especially beautiful. God seems to love this region. In the broad valley there's the brook Kitzbüheler Ache surrounded by many hills and the famous mountain range Wilder Kaiser which is very characteristic for the area. However the beauty of the mountains is only a little bit of what the region has to offer.
The idyllic lake (about 8 ha large and 8 m deep) belongs to the warmest and propably most beautiful swimming lakes in the Alps. Due to its contents of moor the water has healing powers.
