Situated 930 m above sea level, the village covers an area leading to the German border. You can get there on toll-free roads within 15 min. Skiing, cross-country skiing and winter romance
Today, Achenkirch is as famous in winter as in summer. It's perfect for skiers and cross-country skiers.
Snow is guaranteed (due to snow-making facilities) at the Christlum lifts. The area boasts 4 lifts and 25 km of slopes and was among the first areas to support the new sport snowboarding.Furthermore, there are 58 km of cross-country skiing trails awaiting you.
