Leutschach Rebenland

Booking book package
The wine growing villages of Leutschach, Eichberg-Trautenburg, Glanz an der Weinstraße and Schlossberg form the so-called "Rebenland" region. The wine and hop growing village Leutschach, which is located at the southern border of Styria, is dominated by southern flair. It is the economic and cultural center of the region.

Already in 1421 Leutschach became a market municipality because of its craftsmen´s skills and economic trading. The market square dates back to the 17th century and the houses are relatively well preserved. The Trappenburg castle is the oldest house of Leutschach.

The surrounding hills where mixed forests, fruit gardens and vineyards alternate, also are home to hop fields. In the wine gallery of the old town hall you can get an overview of the work of the local wine growers; you can also test and acquire selected wines. The annual hop and grape harvesting festival takes place on the last weekend in September.
Regional, traditional gastronomy and numerous wine taverns spoil our guests with culinary delights.
