Welcome to Aigen-Schlägl in the pristine Bohemian Forest!
The merged towns of Aigen and Schlägl are in a beautiful location on the southern slopes of the Bohemian Forest, in the area that straddles the borders of Austria, Bavaria and the Czech Republic, and offer restful and relaxing holidays any time of the year.

The Hochficht ski area is only 14 kilometers away and offers great value-for-money skiing for families and novice skiers on avalanche-safe and well-groomed slopes. A free ski bus operates between Aigen (bus stop in Schlägl) and the ski area.
Great Nordic skiing is found in Grünwald-Oberhaag (3 kilometers away) where Olympic gold medalist Christian Hoffmann used to ski. Grünwald-Oberhaag gives access to the region’s most beautiful forest tracks. Some 60 kilometers of superbly maintained skating and classic tracks await you here.
