Ollersdorf lies in the Burgenland spa region directly at the B 57 between Oberwart and Güssing.
It is divided by the river Strembach and boasts a paradise for mushrooming with its romantic mixed forests. Ollendorf makes the perfect backdrop for recreational holidays and is ideal for hiking, fishing, relaxing and a lot more.
Since 1519 Ollersdorf i. Bgld. is known as a place of pilgrimage. The catholic pilgrimage church is consecrated to the "Assumption of the Blessed Virgin" and has been built during baroque time. Opposite the church you´ll find the chapel "Maria Helferin" with a miraculour image of the Virgin Mary and a salutary spring. This spring is the final point of the so-called "Kraftweg" (path of strength), which takes you from the Ganglkreuz cross near the golf hotel of Stegersbach on a 1,5 km long path to the chapel of "Maria Helferin". On 7 stations you can regenerate your energies while listening, playing or relaxing. The spring has a high salutary effect due to its energized water.
