There are also numerous cross-country skiing trails for all grades. Eisenerz and Mariazell have been awarded the Styrian Cross-Country Skiing Seal of Quality.
Further sports that can be pursued: tobogganing, curling, ice fishing, ice diving, ice skating, ski mountaineering, bivouac, ice climbing, snowshoe hiking, winter canyoning, and Nordic Cruising. Horse-drawn sleigh rides are also possible.
