Eggenburg - sum of sights
Discover the sights of the town, surrounded by walls, with precious burgeois houses, churches and museums.
You can admire noble gabled houses from the Renaissance, historic columns and fountains at the large Hauptplatz of the old town. Behind it the parish church St. Stephan, the second largest parish church of the northern Lower Austria, appears proudly. It has always been Eggenburg's landmark.
Master chisellers from the past have left behind their works of art in the town and the whole region - a proud heritage!
