Woods, water and wine are the three primary factors which have shaped Bad Vöslau.
The Mediterranean like climate and the hot springs in the soil helped to create a fauna and flora which is often quite exotic. While in Bad Vöslau you should use the opportunity to visit one of the 41 Heurigen wine taverns, where you can enjoy a glass or two of fine wines; the red wine "Vöslauer Roter" is especially worth trying.
In September you can take the grapes & cider cure, which helps you to cleanse your body , to clean your blood and to improve your digestion. You can go for "historical strolls", enjoy the healthy climate and forget the worries of everyday life. Passionate cyclists can explore the many fascinating aspects of this unique region on many excellent cycle paths. Amongst the most popular paths are the 34 km long "hot spring path", which runs along the Wiener Neustädter Canal, and the mountain bike path around the Harzberg mountain.
