The municipality of Hannersdorf with its districts of Burg and Woppendorf is an old settlement that is in charming location. Most of the municipality is part of the "Südburgenländische Hügel- und Terrassenland" nature reserve.
Already the Romans grew wine on the hills of the Eisenberg, Hannersberg, and Königsberg. The wine is predominately sold in wine taverns. The Burg natural bathing paradise with campsite is a major attraction. Idyllic hiking trails are ideal for walks. The Catholic parish church and the castle ruins are well worth a visit.
