A pilgrimage village in the western part of the Vienna woods, which is located along the Anzbach river and the western road on an altitude of 245 m, bordered by the Kohreithberg (516m) in the south and by the Buchberg (469m) in the north. The area is entirely part of the "Flysch" zone (sandstones, clay, clay slate).
