The municipality of Hadres consists of the villages of Hadres, Obritz and Untermarkersdorf, all of which are embedded in the lovely Weinviertel region. They are famous for the excellent wine that grows there.
Hadres is especially popular because it is here where you find the longest cellar lane of Austria; we invite you to come and taste a fine glass of wine! Hadres is also known as the place where the dialect poet Lois Schiferl and the poet Heinrich Suso-Waldegg lived.
Worth visiting are the picturesque parish churches of the villages. If you are keen on sports you can use the sports hall. To round off the day you can visit a Heurigen wine-tavern, where you can have the best wine.
