Großweikersdorf
About an hour´s drive away from Vienna, at the main road 4, the wine and recreation - village Großweikersdorf is located. The pretty municipality is the economic and cultural centre of the northern part of the district Tulln.
It comprises the communities Großweikersdorf, Kleinwiesendorf, Großwiesendorf, Baumgarten am Wagram, Ameistal and Ruppersthal.
Especially worth seeing is the parish church of Großweikersdorf, which has been built by Johann Bernhard Fischer von Erlach and his son Josef Emanuel Fischer von Erlach.
