Traismauer, the Roman and Nibelungen town, is situated at the mouth of the Traisen river into the Danube. Its histor, which can be followed back into the 1st century AD, offers guests an overabundance of history and culture; great gastronomy and friendly Heurigen (wine taverns), various leisure time and sports activities for young and old.
Traismauer is especially recommendable due to being the junction of five international cycling trails (e.g. Danube cycling trail). Here, you can relax, experience culture and concerts, feel history and cosiness.
