Strasshof an der Nordbahn
Strasshof is situated at the northern border of the Marchfeld (about 25 km from Vienna) and hast originally been planned as a suburb (a kind of "garden town) of Vienna. With only 6 houses and 50 inhabitants in 1900, the village has grown quickly over the past centuries and today counts more than 9.000 inhabitants. The "MEMORIAL LOCOMOTIVE" at the B8 road and the "BOILER HOUSE MUSEUM" reminde us of the former large station.
