A warm welcome to Fels am Wagram!

The municipality Fels am Wagram, located on a terrace of the Wagram river, comprises the villages Fels am Wagram, Thürntal, Gösing and Stettenhof.

With over 500 hectares of vineyards, it is one of the oldest and most significant wine growing villages in Lower Austria and the largest in the region around Wagram.
Especially worth seeing are the many romantic cellar lanes. Worth mentioning in this connection is the wine and nature trail Hammergraben with the lookout-tower of Fels. In the course of a hiking tour, you can also enjoy the magnificent natural landscape. The Gösinger Marterl - circle hiking path is also worth strolling along.
But what is more, Fels can also offer you cycle trails, 2 tennis courts and the newly built beach volleyball court.

Fels - the largest wine village of the region Wagram
The cool and shady cellar lanes invite you to a cosy visit and to a glass of wine. On cooler days, you can explore the countryside by foot or by bike. In summer, the municipality Fels is also worth the visit - the time the wine growers already get prepared to do the wine harvest.

Among the biggest highlights are the annual cellar lane party in the cellar lanes of Fels and the Gösinger village party. But Heurigen taverns, too, are open for you on a regular basis and pamper you with excellent wines and regional delicacies.

Guided tours are also again available on the wine and nature trail Hammergraben (please send your requests to the city council). For bus groups, we especially arrange a proper program with final wine tasting.
