Welcome at the cyclists´ village in the Wachau valley!
The market community Emmersdorf at the Danube lies at the Western entrance to the world cultural heritage, the Wachau valley, and has always been a popular holiday destination. Meanwhile, we are connected to the international traffic through the Danube bridge and have yet remained an ideal starting point to experience close up cultural and natural landscapes: Wachau, Nibelungengau, Mostviertel and Waldviertel. Exactly opposite - on the right bank of the Danube - the world famous Benedictine monastery Melk lies situated. Emmersdorf is known to be an ideal stage target for all Danube cyclists, and as the "Cyclists´ village in the Wachau", we want to promote cycling as pure holiday pleasure to our guests.
