Apart from its charming mountainous nature, Annaberg also attracts people with its cultural specialities, as it is a destination of pilgrimage.

Whoever visits Annaberg will definitely enjoy the wonderful mountainous nature. A hike into the spectacular "Ötschergraben" in the nature park "Ötscher-Tormäuer" is really worth while. On your way you will, for instance, pass the impressive Lassing waterfall.

Annaberg also has some cultural treasures to offer. The pilgrimage church St. Anna in the centre of the village, the churches on the Joachimsberg mountain and on the Josefsberg mountain. You can also walk along the "Kreuzweg" path, designed with e-mail boards by the artist from Annaberg Prof. Gamsjäger and the "Gamsjäger-Motivweg" path, which commemmorates the 10 most beautiful painting places of the dead artist.
