The mighty trees of the Weinsberger forests rise like silent guardians around the village of Gutenbrunn, whose small village structures have - thank God - not been eaten up by urbanisation. Here, early morning still smells of fresh bread and our small grocery shop continues to exist.


Earlier on, one said that the Waldviertel is a sleepy region, but those who start participating in the lively community life won't be "sleepy" at all, since Gutenbrunn is ruled by happiness and cheerfulness.


But it takes a healthy mind in a healthy body. That's why our paths, from spring till autumn, invite you to go cycling and in winter to embark on an idyllic cross-country skiing run across woods and fields.


Gutenbrunn might be a small rest of paradise. Enviable those who have their home here. Happy those who from time to time take a rest here and spend a couple of days for recreation. Unfortunate those who still haven't found their way here!!
