Welcome to Rechnitz!
The municipality of Rechnitz is located at the foothills of the Geschriebenstein mountain. It is a recreation area for lovers of active holidays and for all those, who are interested in nature, culture, and history. Surrounded by woods, orchards, and vineyards Rechnitz is ideal for peaceful holidays.
Favored by the Pannonian climate excellent wine is grown here. Small, relaxed wine taverns serve regional culinary delights. The woods are ideal for hikes.
In winter holiday-makers can go ice skating on the romantic reservoir lake or go for long walks through the snow-covered forests. Especially during the Advent season Rechnitz is changed into a Christmas dream.
