Reichenau im Mühlkreis

You´ll find Reichenau on foot of a Castle Hill where the Große Gusen River has its source. The friendly market town is only 20 kilometers out from Upper Austria´s capital Linz.

Local must-sees include the Gothic-style Parish Church (1473), the recently refurbished Castle in Ruins (1315) where a series of events is scheduled each year in the summer, the Pranger (1539) and the Renaissance-style gate (1594) on Market Square.
