The winner of the Montafon Silvretta(wo)man is chosen from the Mountain Bike Hillclimb and the International Steps Cup

International Staircase Cup on Jul 25, 2009

On Saturday the athletes will have to conquer 1500m in 23 minutes. What sounds like a leisurely walk, is an enormous challenge for every sportsman. Because 4000 steps and 700 m difference in altitude.
The steps belong to Europe's longest staircase, the Europatreppe 4000 which leads from Partenen to Hochmontafon, 1730m above sea level.
An additional challenge is that the steps of the staircase are irregular.

Mountainbike hillclimb on 26 Jul 09

On Sunday the Mountainbike Hillclimb cup will take place.
The course leads from the base terminal of the Valiserabahn lift (St. Gallenkirch/Galgenul) to the top terminal of the Garfreschabahn lifts and to the Alpe Nova. The course has been made a bit easier and adapted for hobby bikers. The course is about 10km long and has 950m difference in altitude.

Great prizes can be won!
The MONTAFON Silvretta(wo)man competition combines the Hillclimb and the Treppencup. Both competitions can also be rated independently.
