Since the 1970s Günther Domenig has devoted lots of time to this place, which has close links with his childhood.

The house is some kind of hill from which rocks protrude, bare rocks, a building growing from the mountains.



This project, a manifestation of a very personal architectural perception, has become the main project of Günther Domenig´s work: "I reached the limit in every aspect. This project will show what I am actually able to achieve in architecture." (Günther Domenig)

The Stonehouse located on an almost 4000m² site on the shores of Ossiachersee lake is an unfinished project.
