Marchegg
In Marchegg there can be watched unique colonies of white storcs, a remarkable colony of many different kinds of birds and "pre-historic" cancers from the time of the dinosaurs. The town offers also a lot for historic freaks. Founded in 1260 by King Ottokar as a stronhold against Ottokar, the old town walls and the castle give the visitor a special feeling of this time.
