100 km of winter hiking trails perfect for romantic walks through snow-covered woods and fields. 41.5 km of well-groomed cross-country runs wonderful for cross-country ski lovers. You will enjoy these activities in the heart of the natural jewel that is the Gurgltal and Hoch-Imst region. There are also seven tobogganing runs where you can enjoy relaxed evenings drinking mulled wine and going down on the sledge in the powder snow.
Alpine Coaster
Untermarkter alpine hut, just above Hoch-Imst, is the point of departure for a unique adventure. This is where the start of the Alpine Coaster is. The Alpine Coaster is the longest alpine rollercoaster in the whole world, built on 3.5 km of rails across the mountain. Race down into the valley at breathtaking speeds, up to six meters in the air!
