The winter sports region of Gastein ranks among the largest and most beautiful ski areas within the province of Salzburg. Due to its high-alpine surroundings (up to 2,600m) the valley offers immaculate snow conditions from the end of November to late spring.
More than 201km of well-groomed slopes are phantastic skiing terrain for beginners and pros - offering different levels of difficulty.
60km easy, 117km intermediate and 24km difficult slopes.
