The winter landscape away from slopes and trails
skipThe tempting vision of sitting in front of the Jochalm hut amidst the snowy winter wonderland and of looking down to the hustle and bustle of the Christlum ski area, made us create today's snow shoes 10 years ago. Since then we have been captured by this fantastic new trend sport. Besides the heavenly quietude in the winter woods, we are also fascinated by observing the deer, its attitudes and tracks. The variety of ice and snow crystals as well as the bizarre forms of deeply snow-covered tree trunks, bushes, huts and fences let us want to hike more and more weeks also in winter every year.
